An Abu Dhabi Christmas

Christmas is in the air! With everyone I meet wishing me a merry Christmas and all kinds of decorations everywhere, it doesn't at all seem like what I pictured Christmas in the Middle East to be like before I lived here. This is outside our grocery store.

This was the treat basket we got from Ken's work - people here can do some pretty amazing things with dates. Date soda, date spread, chocolate covered dates, nut stuffed dates, and so much more!

Our traditional sugar cookie decorating! These kids are the best. Never a dull moment :)

Christmas eve dinner was amazingly delicious with our amazingly talented friends the Garricks (why do I not have pictures with them?!? Well, here's a good one of Colby)

Ready for Santa to visit!
Christmas morning did not disappoint!

Since church is on Friday here, we went to church that morning. We also got to have a great dinner with lots of friends in the neighborhood. Merry Christmas!
