Slow-cooker Sadness

This was once the world's best slow cooker. Until I decided to move it across the world. It didn't make it through the flight over. It got squished (which seems to be a common theme at our house...)

When Ken and I got married, we got a sparkly clean huge new crockpot. Problem was, it burned EVERYTHING (this was my first attempt making apple butter. Hungry anyone?!)

So my mom let me have that little gem of a crockpot, given to us by a very dear old friend from our church in California. Lou Revill, a sweet sweet lady. Well, her crockpot served my family well for almost 20 years, and I don't know how long she had it before then. So it is with sadness in my heart that I say goodbye to this little crockpot.

In case you are wondering, I WILL be making you dinner in the new crockpot if you come visit, so beware. I haven't burned anything TOO bad - yet!
