This happened back at the end of September, but I am finally getting to it! Some of our good friends from college stopped by to visit us as they were on their way back to the States. It was great to see them, and we spent our day together in Dubai. We went to the mall there, and Tyler was thrilled to find a Star Wars guy waiting to greet us. The others were too scared to join Tyler:)

We went to an aquarium inside the mall, and saw all kinds of sharks, fish, and animals. The kids were mesmerized.

We didn't spend much time in Dubai, since we got there later than we planned, but it was nice to catch a quick glimpse. I know we'll be back for more fun adventures!

Kuwait has a similar aquarium. And beaches. It kinda makes me a bit homesick. Sigh.
