Winter Wonderland

Some things about being abroad are hard. BUT, there are some definite perks as well! For me, one of those is winter time, and the lack of "traditional" winter weather. I HATE being cold. So, since I've been enjoying all of my friends' pictures of beautiful but frigid winter snow, I thought I'd let you all peek into our winter wonderland :) We did a couple desert bonfires in December

We discovered a new park, spiderman park, where all ages can climb to their hearts content.

We made a quick visit to the Royal stables to show Grandma what it is like.

Wandering around, late December, in shorts with family and good friends. Does it get any better?!

We've gone bike riding along the corniche on a Friday afternoon

And we finish off every single day on the trampoline. This was a couple days ago, Owen's first time, and he was just as happy as can be, trapped in a giant springy play pen!

Yep, I'll take this. I'm sure I'll be feeling differently come July, but for now, we'll just enjoy!

  1. Looks really beautiful on the beach and sand dune fires look really fun. Todd hates sand though so he might not be as happy!
